ILM RESEARCH – PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction

User privacy is of paramount importance to Beshak Solutions Private Limited (“Company”). This Privacy Policy sets out how the Company collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects the User’s Personal Information on the Website.

This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require physical or digital signatures.

Privacy and confidentiality in relation to any User Content uploaded, disclosed, or stored by the User (if such features are enabled) will be governed by the Terms and Conditions of ILM Research, in addition to this Privacy Policy.

ILM Research is a research and ratings platform. It does not sell insurance and does not act as an insurance intermediary (including broker, corporate agent, or web aggregator).

2. Definitions

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, wherever the context so requires, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:

“Applicable Law” shall include all laws, statutes, regulations, guidelines, and other pronouncements having the effect of law in India, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 (wherever applicable), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 (wherever applicable).

“Content” shall include, without limitation, data, text, written posts, comments, reports, ratings, scores, tools, software, scripts, interactive features, graphics, images, photos, documents, audio, video, location/country data and all other forms of information or data.

“Account” shall mean the account created by the User by providing the Company certain required User information (if account creation is enabled).

“Grievance Officer” shall have the meaning as ascribed to it under Clause 16 of this Privacy Policy.

“Person” shall mean and be deemed to include any individual, firm, company or other corporate body, government authority, joint venture, association, partnership or other entity (whether or not having separate legal personality).

“Personal Information” shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 4.1 of this Privacy Policy.

“Services” shall mean the services offered through the Website, including access to research, analysis, ratings, reports, tools, and related features.

“Third Party Privacy Policies” shall mean this Privacy Policy read with policies of TSPs (as defined below).

“TSPs” shall mean third party service providers whose services are used in addition to or in conjunction with the Services of the Company.

“User” shall mean any individual or natural person who accepts this Privacy Policy and the Company’s Terms and Conditions and who accesses or uses the Website and/or Services. Nothing in this Privacy Policy shall be deemed to confer any third party rights or benefits.

“User’s Content” shall mean any Content that the User saves, submits, posts, displays, uploads, shares, or transmits through the Website (if such features are enabled).

“Website” shall mean an internet portal/website by the name of “ILM Research” located at URL: https://www.ilmresearch.com.

3. Acceptance and Registration

This Privacy Policy will apply to the User for accessing and/or browsing of the Website and by registering, transacting, or otherwise using the Website or Services or otherwise providing information to the Company. User agrees that their Personal Information shall be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

User’s use of the Website and Services and any dispute over privacy are governed by this Privacy Policy and the Company’s Terms and Conditions, which shall be deemed to be incorporated into this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy read with Third Party Privacy Policies (where applicable) shall constitute a binding arrangement between the Company and the User.

4. Eligibility

The Website and/or Services are not intended for use by any person under the age of 18. The Company does not knowingly collect Personal Information from any person under the age of 18. If the Company becomes aware that a person submitting Personal Information is under the age of 18, the Company shall delete such User’s Account (if any) and related information where feasible. If any person believes that they may have any information from or about a person under the age of 18 using the Website and/or Services, please contact the Company at legal@ilmresearch.com.

5. Collection and Use of Personal Information

5.1 Personal Information

The Company may collect and use, through the Website, information that can be used to identify or contact a User (“Personal Information”), including but not limited to:

A. Information the Company collects directly from the User:

• Name and email address (for registration, support, or communication)

• Contact number and contact preferences (if provided)

• Any information the User chooses to provide via forms, feedback, surveys, or support messages

• If the User purchases paid tools/reports: transaction reference details such as order id, amount, date/time, and payment status (payment credentials are processed by payment gateways and are not stored by the Company)

B. Information the Company collects automatically:

The Company automatically collects certain information about a User’s use of the Website through cookies and similar technologies for maintaining security and operation of the Website, enhancing Services, and internal analytics, including:

• Device details

• Browser type and operating system

• Links clicked and pages visited

• IP address

• Length of time spent on the Website

• Navigation patterns

• Referring URL

• Language preferences

• ISP

• Location/country of residence (where available)

5.2 Sensitive Personal Information

“Sensitive Personal Information” may include financial data (such as bank account or payment details), and data concerning health (such as insurance policy information, medical disclosures, or claim-related details) if a User voluntarily shares it while using the Website or contacting the Company.

The Company does not actively require Users to share Sensitive Personal Information for general browsing. However, if the User voluntarily shares such information (for example, while using a tool, seeking support, or giving feedback), the User shall be considered to have consented to the collection and processing of such information for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy.

5.3 Manner of dealing with Personal Information

The Company uses Personal Information for the following purposes:

• To provide the Services and communicate with the User about use of the Website and Services

• To respond to User inquiries and provide customer support

• To deliver purchased tools/reports and process cancellations and refunds

• To send essential communications such as security alerts, account notifications, and important policy updates

• To administer, monitor, and improve the Website and Services using internal analytics and reporting

• To detect and protect against error, fraud, abuse, and other criminal activity

• To enforce the Terms and Conditions and comply with legal and regulatory requirements

The Company will not, without the User’s express consent, share, sell, rent, trade, or supply the User’s Personal Information to any third party for their direct marketing purposes.

6. Disclosure of User’s Personal Information

User’s Personal Information will only be shared by the Company to provide or improve the Website and Services, subject to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.

The Company may disclose Personal Information:

• To vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents (TSPs) who help operate the Website and Services (for example, hosting, security, analytics, email delivery, and payment processing), only to the extent necessary

• Where required by Applicable Law, legal process, or requests from public and government authorities

• Where reasonably necessary to enforce the Terms and Conditions, protect operations, protect Users, or protect the Company against third party claims

• In the event of a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale, where Personal Information may be transferred as part of such transaction, subject to Applicable Law

7. Review and Updating Personal Information

Users may request correction or updating of their Personal Information by contacting the Company at legal@ilmresearch.com.

8. Retention of Personal Information and Deletion

The Company shall retain Personal Information for the purposes authorized under this Privacy Policy unless prohibited by Applicable Law.

User may request deletion of their Account (if enabled) by contacting legal@ilmresearch.com. The Company may retain certain Personal Information to the extent required under Applicable Law, for lawful rights, security, audits, and dispute handling.

9. Protection and Security of Personal Information

The Company has implemented reasonable physical, technical, and administrative security measures to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Users are advised not to share their Account credentials with anyone and to take steps to protect against unauthorized access to their devices. The Company is not responsible for compromised passwords due to the User’s actions.

10. Third Party Privacy Policies

The Website and Services may contain components of services provided by TSPs and/or links to third party websites or interfaces. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information exchanged between the User and such third parties. Users are advised to read the privacy policies of such third parties carefully.

11. Communications from the Company

From time to time, the Company may communicate with Users via email, text message, or telephone calls for essential service communications (such as account, security, purchases, refunds, and policy updates). The Company does not send spam.

Where the Company sends non-essential updates (for example, research updates), the Company will provide an unsubscribe option where feasible.

12. Cookies

The Company uses cookies and similar technologies to help analyze Website usage, improve performance, and promote safety and security. Users may disable cookies in their browser, but some features may not work properly.

13. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not responsible for any breach of security or for any actions of any third parties that receive the User’s Personal Information, except to the extent required by Applicable Law.

14. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

At this stage, the Company does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is subject to change from time to time. Any changes will be posted on the Website. Users are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

16. Grievance Officer for Redressal

In accordance with Applicable Law, the details of the Grievance Officer are:
